Turn hiring dates into selling capacity.
Compare January–March capacity with a 1,200k target. Inspect the ramp, cost and confirmation behind each cohort before authorizing a plan.
See when the seats become productive.
| Cohort | Seats | Jan capacity | Feb capacity | Mar capacity | Quarter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Modeled total |
Monthly quota 100k × active seats × ramp factor × 80% modeled attainment. The target, capacity and observed sales remain separate records.
Make the model explainable.
Plan the response to a 140k shortfall.
Earlier starts, revised productivity assumptions or a changed target produce different decisions. Use the editor to move the two-seat January cohort to February: its quarter contribution drops from 280k to 120k. The resulting capacity is 900k and the uncovered target becomes 300k.
Choose a cohort.
The three incumbent seats stay outside the requisition editor. Requisition identity prevents counting the same planned seat twice.
Authorize one version of the capacity plan.
Keep the decision tied to its inputs.
Revenue planners edit cohort assumptions. Finance reviewers approve the saved edition after checking start confirmation, budget and the remaining target gap.
Saving a material cohort change creates a new edition and clears any earlier approval. Repeated approval of the same edition keeps one decision.
Role choices illustrate the workflow. Application authentication, server permissions, imports, notifications and durable audit history belong in the development scope.
