QuickBooks Desktop E-Invoicing Setup: Accountant Checks | Codeblix
Accountant training: review company identity, buyer profiles, tax mappings and workflow settings before a QuickBooks Desktop e-invoicing exchange.
What this QuickBooks Desktop tutorial covers
Accountant training: review a QuickBooks Desktop connection in Codeblix EBS before the first e-invoicing exchange. Check the company identity and last contact, verify synthetic buyer profiles, review tax mappings, confirm payment mode and base currency, and record dated exchange-rate evidence when needed. Prepare a manual sync and review failed request-queue rows. Leave automatic fiscalisation and customer email off until each is tested and approved.
This is a local training database with synthetic values, not client accounting or tax advice. The examples do not establish the correct VAT treatment for another business. QuickBooks captures use the US Enterprise 24.0 trial. No live MRA submission is shown.

This video is for the accountant or technician who reviews a new QuickBooks Desktop connection. Start on the QuickBooks Desktop page. Check that the company, the QuickBooks product and the last contact match the client's company file. Resolve any mismatch before you continue. Captured invoices stay on hold until each buyer has a verified profile. Enter the discovered customer ListID, choose the transaction and buyer type, and select Verify customer. The values shown are a synthetic training example. Next, map each discovered QuickBooks tax code to the treatment your review approved. Enter the ListID, MRA tax code, VAT rate and treatment, add your approval note, and select Verify mapping. Never accept the default values without review. In Workflow, confirm the payment mode and base currency. Leave automatic fiscalisation and customer email off until they are tested and approved. Then select Save workflow. If invoices use a foreign currency, record dated exchange-rate evidence here. When your review is done, select Prepare manual sync. The client then runs Update Selected in Web Connector. The request queue shows every exchange. A failed row, like this company mismatch, must be resolved before fiscal processing. Before the first invoice, confirm that the company and file are verified, buyer profiles are reviewed, tax mappings are approved, and automation stays off until it has been tested.
