Bill of quantities software

An estimate your team can check, line by line.

Structure the work before you calculate it. Keep a clear description, measurement unit, quantity and rate for each estimate line.

01

Structure the work items

Group the work into understandable items. Use the right unit for each measurement so quantities and rates refer to the same thing.

02

Review quantities and rates

Check measurements and the rate basis before relying on the amount. The rate is your project input; it is not a published market price or a country-specific cost library.

03

Export the BOQ

Produce the structured estimate through the BOQ export workflow, including spreadsheet output. Review the exported document before sharing it with your project team.

Quantity × rate, with the assumptions visible.

The sample uses 12 m³ of concrete at Rs 6,000, 80 m² of blockwork at Rs 850 and 50 m² of finishes at Rs 400. Together, the three lines total Rs 160,000 before tax and other project costs.

Use the example to understand the calculation, not to price a real project. Measurement accuracy, specification, labour, materials, overheads and contractual allowances still need a project-specific review.

BOQ supports structured construction estimating. It does not turn a drawing into a verified quantity survey. A trained reviewer should confirm the measurements and scope.

When the job extends beyond the estimate.

A bill of quantities is one part of a construction workflow. Explore construction software for the broader project context and distinguish Platform app scope from a custom implementation.

Keep a record of the assumptions behind the estimate and review each revision before using it for purchasing or contract decisions.
