What determines your monthly price?

Your monthly price depends on invoice volume, processing needs, whether you use Codeblix directly or connect your existing software, and the complexity of that connection, including older accounting systems. We confirm and agree your total monthly price before activation.

Using Codeblix directly may involve a simpler workflow than connecting an existing accounting package. Larger invoice volumes, additional processing and complex or older systems can require more work. All listed EBS features remain included in your agreed subscription; the maximum is MUR 2,000 per month.

Already a customer? Your agreed plan may reflect these requirements. Contact us to review your current scope and monthly price. Existing agreements continue on their agreed terms until amended with you.

AI invoice reading and batch upload

Upload PDF invoices, invoice photos or text-based Word documents. The AI reader extracts invoice details into an editable review. Select multiple files and the queue reads them one at a time. Each file must contain one invoice and be no larger than 10 MB. Supported formats are PDF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, WEBP and DOCX; use PDF for scanned Word documents.

AI reading is included on activation. Codeblix checks the connection during setup; provider usage and processing limits apply. You review customer details, currency, tax and totals before saving a draft. Reading or uploading a file does not submit it to MRA.

For spreadsheet batches, import CSV, TSV or TXT. Export an Excel or Google Sheets worksheet as CSV first. Watch the invoice import walkthrough.

Keep QuickBooks, Xero, Tally or your existing POS

QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero and Tally have documented connection workflows. Other accounting, ERP and POS systems connect through a suitable API or file export after a technical review. Existing third-party software subscriptions are separate. Codeblix Platform apps and AI Receptionist are separate products.

Free invoice software or MRA fiscalisation?

A VAT invoice PDF and a fiscalised e-invoice are different things. For a business required to use MRA e-invoicing, check that its chosen workflow transmits the invoice to the Invoice Fiscalisation Platform and handles the returned fiscal reference and QR code. Verify the requirements and your onboarding status using the official MRA e-invoicing guidance.

Ask each provider to demonstrate a successful live fiscalised invoice for the plan being offered. Also compare setup, monthly invoice limits, users, import formats, integrations, support and the total payable.

What do lower advertised prices include?

On 25 October 2026, einv.mu advertised MUR 850/month including VAT for self-service e-invoicing, with MRA transmission after onboarding and activation. Its page states that historical invoices and credit notes are kept for a maximum of six months.

VAT-Invoice.mu advertised a free PDF invoicing plan and a Rs 990/month Starter plan. Its public plan description lists invoice creation, VAT fields and PDF export; that description alone does not verify live MRA fiscalisation. Confirm the live transmission workflow directly with the provider.

Codeblix starts at MUR 970 total/month, with a maximum of MUR 2,000 based on invoice volume, processing needs and system complexity. We compete on the included EBS workflow, imports, supported connections and technical support. Lower advertised prices exist, so we do not claim to be the cheapest provider in Mauritius.

Unlimited invoices, fair use and fees

Unlimited invoices cover normal business use within your agreed processing scope. Bulk imports and AI reading are processed within service capacity; file and provider usage limits apply. If your invoice volume, processing needs or system connection changes substantially, we review the scope with you and agree any subscription change before it takes effect, within MUR 970–2,000 per month. There are no automatic per-invoice overage charges.

There is no automatic charge for adding users or enabling included EBS features. Existing signed agreements keep their agreed terms until amended with the customer. Read the subscription terms.

Questions about EBS pricing in Mauritius

How much does MRA e-invoicing cost with Codeblix?

Codeblix EBS starts at MUR 970 total per month per company, with a maximum of MUR 2,000 per month. No VAT is added. The price depends on invoice volume, processing needs and your current system or integration complexity. All EBS features, supported integrations, unlimited users and technical support are included in your agreed subscription. No onboarding fees or additional Codeblix EBS fees. Unlimited invoices are subject to fair use.

Why do some businesses pay more than MUR 970?

Your monthly price depends on invoice volume, processing needs, whether you use Codeblix directly or connect your existing software, and the complexity of that connection, including older accounting systems. We confirm and agree your total monthly price before activation. Using Codeblix directly can be simpler than connecting a complex or older accounting system. All EBS features remain included; the agreed subscription reflects the volume and processing or connection work required, up to MUR 2,000 per month.

Does the starting price include actual MRA fiscalisation?

Yes. The subscription includes MRA invoice transmission after your business completes registration, required testing, approval and Codeblix LIVE activation. A generated PDF alone is not evidence of fiscalisation; check the MRA response, invoice reference and QR code.

Is free VAT invoice software the same as an MRA EBS?

Not necessarily. A tool can generate a VAT invoice PDF without transmitting it to the MRA Invoice Fiscalisation Platform. Ask whether the specific free or paid plan includes live MRA transmission, the returned fiscal reference and QR code, setup and support.

Is Codeblix the cheapest e-invoicing provider in Mauritius?

Codeblix EBS starts at MUR 970 total per month, with a maximum of MUR 2,000 depending on your business requirements. We do not claim it is the cheapest: lower advertised prices exist and inclusions differ. Compare actual MRA fiscalisation, invoice limits, onboarding, integrations, AI reading and support before choosing.

Can AI read invoices and can I upload a batch?

Yes. AI invoice reading is included on activation. Upload PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP or DOCX files up to 10 MB each, with one invoice per file. Multiple files are processed one at a time into separate editable reviews. Check the extracted values before saving a draft. CSV, TSV and TXT batch import is also available. Uploading does not itself fiscalise an invoice.

Can I connect QuickBooks, Xero, Tally or my POS?

QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero and Tally have documented connection workflows. Other accounting, ERP and POS systems connect through a suitable API or file export after a technical review. Existing third-party software subscriptions are separate. Codeblix Platform apps and AI Receptionist are separate products.

Are there setup, per-user or per-invoice charges?

No. Codeblix EBS onboarding, supported integrations and users are included in your agreed monthly subscription, within MUR 970–2,000. There are no automatic per-invoice overage charges. Fair-use and third-party software terms apply.

Why might my existing subscription differ from the starting price?

MUR 970 is the starting price, not a single price for every business. Your agreed subscription may reflect invoice volume, processing requirements and the complexity of connecting your existing system. Existing agreements keep their agreed terms until amended with you. Contact Codeblix for a review of your current scope and price.

What is it?
Your billing system sends invoice details to MRA for fiscalisation before you issue the invoice to your customer.
Why does it matter?
It supports transparent billing and tax compliance. Customers can scan the invoice’s QR code to check that it has been fiscalised.
Does my business need it?
MRA is introducing e-invoicing in stages. Check the current MRA requirements and any notification sent to your business to confirm when you must comply.

Need an API for your existing billing software?

Your developer can send invoices, credit notes and debit notes from your software to the Codeblix API. After successful live fiscalisation, it returns the MRA IRN and QR image. Keep your invoice numbering and branded layout. Codeblix remains your EBS provider, and each issuing business completes its own MRA onboarding.

Start with a simulated sandbox that does not submit invoices to MRA. Live access follows MRA onboarding and activation.
