What this QuickBooks Desktop Version 2 guide covers
Connect QuickBooks Desktop to Codeblix EBS before daily invoicing. Prepare a company backup, enter the product and company details, download the QWC file, authorise Web Connector access, save the separate connector password and enable Auto-Run. The example uses a 15-minute schedule. Create invoices in QuickBooks as usual, then check MRA acceptance and use the matching Codeblix fiscal PDF with its QR code. The final chapters cover the optional EBS Documents helper, PC availability, missing customer data and credit-note corrections.
Uses a fictional demonstration company and sample QR codes. Portal screens use local sample records; QuickBooks, Web Connector and Windows dialogs are recreated illustrations. Live fiscalisation follows company onboarding, correct mappings and MRA acceptance. Confirm your Desktop edition, year and compatible Web Connector with support. Intuit Web Connector exchanges invoice data; Codeblix Connector provides separate remote support.

QuickBooks Desktop and MRA e-invoicing, with Codeblix EBS. Keep invoicing in QuickBooks as usual. Codeblix fiscalises each invoice with the MRA, and gives you the fiscal copy with its QR code. Here's how it works. You save an invoice in QuickBooks, on your PC. QuickBooks Web Connector, a free tool from Intuit, sends it securely to Codeblix EBS. Codeblix submits it to the MRA, and gets back the IRN and the QR code. Then the fiscal PDF, with its QR code, is ready for your customer. Set this up once, before you start invoicing. You need the PC that runs QuickBooks, a fresh backup of your company file, and QuickBooks Web Connector installed. Our team can do this setup with you, remotely. Sign in to Codeblix EBS, and open Settings, then Connections. Next to QuickBooks Desktop, click Set up. Enter your QuickBooks product and year, and your company name, exactly as QuickBooks shows it. Add a few details about this computer, and the date of your last backup. For Sync, choose Automatic schedule, every 15 minutes. Tick the confirmation, and click Continue. Codeblix creates your connector. Download the Codeblix .qwc file. Note the username, and copy the connector password. It's shown only once, and it is not your QuickBooks password. On the QuickBooks PC, open QuickBooks with the correct company file. Then open QuickBooks Web Connector, and click Add an Application. Choose the Codeblix file you downloaded, and click OK to authorise it. QuickBooks asks for permission. Choose: Yes, whenever this QuickBooks company file is open. Click Continue, then confirm. Back in Web Connector, paste the connector password, press Enter, and save it when asked. Tick Auto-Run, so it syncs every 15 minutes on its own. Then tick the Codeblix row, and click Update Selected for the first sync. When the progress reaches 100 percent, you're connected. In Codeblix, the QuickBooks Desktop page now shows Active, and when it last made contact. And in Connections, QuickBooks Desktop is Connected. Setup is done. From now on, just invoice in QuickBooks, as you always do. Choose the customer, and add your items with the right tax code. Check the total, and click Save and Close. At the next scheduled sync, Web Connector sends it to Codeblix. You don't click anything. Codeblix submits it to the MRA, and a moment later, it's fiscalised, with the same invoice number as in QuickBooks. Now, the QR code. QuickBooks' own invoice template can't print the MRA QR code. So give your customer the Codeblix fiscal copy instead. Open the invoice in Codeblix, and click PDF. Here's the MRA QR code, on invoice INV-1087, the same number as in QuickBooks. Download it or print it, and send it to your customer. Prefer the files on your PC? Ask us to install a small helper. It saves every fiscal PDF in an EBS Documents folder, sorted by date, ready to print or share. Keep the QuickBooks PC on, and Web Connector running. If the PC is off, invoices sync at the next run. If an invoice needs attention, for example a missing VAT number, fix the customer in QuickBooks, and save the invoice again. Once an invoice is fiscalised, don't change it. Correct it with a credit note. Invoice in QuickBooks. Codeblix takes care of the MRA. Need help with setup? We're here for you at codeblix.com.
