Episode five. The waiter screen, and taking orders. On the floor, tap your table. T4 is free, so choose two guests, and tap Seat and Start Order. Then tap Add Items to open the menu. The menu sits beside the check, grouped by category. Tap Starters, then tap a dish to add it. Every dish belongs to a course: starter, main, dessert, or drinks. The salad is a starter, marked Now. For the burger, choose Main, then To follow. The kitchen holds it, and the chef decides when to start. Drinks go now. Choose Drinks, then Now, and add a Mojito. All together would send every course at once. For a kitchen note, tap the note icon on the dish. Type it, here: no onion, well done. Then tap Save note. The note now sits under the burger, and goes to the kitchen with it. When the order is complete, tap Send to Kitchen. Each dish goes to its own station screen, in the kitchen or at the bar. Back on the floor, T4 turns purple: in the kitchen. Need a change after sending? Open the table, tap Add Items, then Edit sent item on the dish. Change how many, add a note, or remove the dish. Then say why: the guest changed their mind. Tap Update order. The check updates, and the kitchen is asked to confirm the change. When the kitchen marks the dishes ready, Order up! pops up on the waiter's screen. Tap Show me. T4 opens on the floor, and each ready dish has its own Serve button. Tap Serve on each one. With everything served, tap Request Bill. T4 turns orange, ready for payment. Next: the kitchen and bar screens.
