Watch QuickBooks Web Connector installation on Windows. This demonstration uses the Desktop 2024 build; confirm compatibility with your own edition.
What this QuickBooks Desktop tutorial covers
Install QuickBooks Web Connector on Windows and open it for the first time. This Codeblix tutorial shows the installer, licence agreement and empty application list. Close QuickBooks, run the approved installer, follow the wizard and launch Web Connector. An empty list is normal before you add your company connection file. Use the Intuit download that matches your QuickBooks Desktop version; ask support to confirm compatibility before installing.
Recorded with QuickBooks Web Connector 34.0.10010.76, the build for QuickBooks Desktop 2024. This is not a compatibility test for QuickBooks 2018 or every Desktop edition. Codeblix Connector for remote support is a separate tool.

In this video, you'll install QuickBooks Web Connector on your PC. First, save your work and close QuickBooks. Open the Web Connector installer, and select Yes if Windows asks for permission. When the setup wizard opens, select Next. Read the license agreement. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement, then select Next. Select Install. Wait while the files are installed. This only takes a moment. When the wizard has completed, select Finish. Now open QuickBooks Web Connector from the Start menu. If you see this window, the installation worked. No applications are listed yet, and that's expected.
