If your Mauritius business uses Tally accounting software, you can keep your sales-entry workflow and use Codeblix for MRA e-invoicing. The TallyPrime connector reads saved sales invoices from your open company, lets you review the buyer and tax details, and submits the invoices you select. After successful fiscalisation, open the Codeblix invoice copy to print or save it with its QR code.

The PDF walks through the TallyPrime 7.2 screens and Codeblix Windows connector. It covers the connection settings, customer selection, invoice date, sales and VAT amounts, submission status, QR copy and the EBS page where submitted invoices appear.

How Tally invoices reach Codeblix EBS

  1. 1

    Connect the correct company

Keep TallyPrime and the connector open on the same Windows computer. Use the matching local port, import your company setup file and bind the correct Tally company to its Codeblix connection.

  2. 2

Create and check the Tally invoice

Enter the actual invoice date, customer details, sales lines and VAT. Save the sales voucher, then refresh the connector preview for a period that includes its date.

  3. 3

    Review and submit

Check the buyer and tax mappings and compare the preview total with Tally. Select the ready invoice and choose Send checked invoices. Refresh the submitted status until its result is available.

  4. 4

    Open the QR copy

For a fiscalised invoice, choose Open selected fiscal copy. Print or save this Codeblix copy and find the submission under Settings > Connections > TallyPrime on EBS.

What you need before connecting Tally

Have your company open in TallyPrime and a Codeblix connection configured for that business. Each legal entity needs its own configured company connection. Codeblix coordinates the required MRA onboarding before live fiscal invoicing. Keep your connection key private and ask us to review your company, buyer and tax settings during setup.

The guide illustrates TallyPrime 7.2. If you use Tally ERP 9, another version, or customised vouchers and print layouts, send us your version and workflow for a compatibility review.

Tally invoice and QR code questions

Does the QR code print on my usual Tally invoice?

This guide uses the Codeblix invoice copy opened from the connector. Use that copy to print or save the invoice with its QR code. A change to your own Tally print template needs a separate review.

Why is my Tally invoice missing from the preview?

Confirm that the voucher is saved, the correct Tally company is loaded, and the From / To period includes the invoice date. Refresh the preview, then check any buyer or tax message before submitting.

Where do I find submitted Tally invoices on EBS?

Open Settings, Connections, then TallyPrime and check Recent Tally submissions for the correct company. The PDF shows this screen on page 19.

What if the invoice is pending or the result is unclear?

Use Refresh submitted status and keep the original invoice reference. If the result remains unclear, ask Codeblix to check the existing submission before creating another invoice.

How much is the Tally integration?

Codeblix EBS starts at MUR 1,000 per month, with a maximum of MUR 2,000 per month based on monthly invoice volume. All EBS add-ons and integrations, unlimited users and unlimited invoices are included. No onboarding fees or additional Codeblix EBS fees. We keep our pricing low to make e-invoicing affordable for Mauritius businesses. Your own Tally licence is separate. Confirm the version, company connections and workflow during onboarding.

Unlimited invoices are subject to fair use. We analyse monthly invoice volume when quoting your subscription and during ongoing use to keep the service fair and reliable for everyone. If your volume increases beyond fair usage, we will review it with you and agree any change within MUR 1,000–2,000 per month before it takes effect. Your Codeblix EBS subscription will not exceed MUR 2,000 per month. There are no automatic per-invoice overage charges.
