Quotation generator for a reviewable sales draft

Build a draft quote from customer details and line items, then share the assumptions with the person who will approve and issue the final customer document.

This creates a draft quote for review. It does not issue a fiscal invoice or MRA submission.

Sales handoff

A quote is a promise to review, not a fiscal document

Use the draft to align the customer, scope, quantities, validity period and commercial assumptions. Once accepted, the final document still needs the correct numbering, customer data, tax treatment, permissions and fiscalisation path.

  • Name the customer and quote validity date.
  • Show discount and tax assumptions separately.
  • Move approved work into the controlled document workflow.
Avoid rework

Keep the source details with the draft

A copied total is not enough for an approval trail. Keep the line description, quantity, unit price, discount, tax basis and person who approved the quote together so a final invoice can be checked against what was offered.

  • Do not label a draft as an invoice.
  • Do not imply a generated IRN or fiscal counter.
  • Confirm currency, tax status and customer identity before issue.

Continue from calculation to workflow

Use the result as an input to planning—not as a standalone system decision.
