How to Issue Multi-Currency Invoices

Many Mauritius businesses invoice in foreign currencies. Here is how to do it correctly.

How it works

1. Set the exchange rate at invoice creation
2. The invoice is issued in the foreign currency
3. The system records the MUR equivalent for VAT purposes
4. Reports show both the foreign currency and the MUR equivalent

Exchange rates

You can use the daily MRA rate or set a custom rate. The choice is recorded on the invoice for audit.
