Barcode generator that shows what it encoded
Choose the intended symbology, validate the supported payload and download a browser-generated SVG. The utility does not assign a product identifier or turn plain Code 128 data into GS1-128.
Plain Code 128 and GS1-128 are not interchangeable
The Code 128 option encodes ordinary supported text. GS1-128 adds FNC1 and structured Application Identifier rules that this option does not claim to implement. EAN and UPC modes accept their own exact numeric lengths.
- ✓Choose the carrier before entering data.
- ✓A correct checksum does not prove identifier ownership.
- ✓Keep the downloaded SVG with its review status.
Test the physical label, not just the browser preview
Module size, quiet zones, colour contrast, substrate, print gain, placement and scanner configuration affect real use. Treat this SVG as a reproducible planning source and verify production output against the applicable standard.
- ✓Do not crop the quiet area.
- ✓Never stretch one axis independently.
- ✓Scan samples from the actual printer and material.
