VAT Returns

Generate MRA VAT return ready for filing. Auto-populated from invoices.

Auto-populated VAT return from your fiscalised invoices and purchase bills. Quarterly return ready for filing on the MRA portal.

How it works

Output VAT is calculated from your fiscalised invoices and POS sales. Input VAT is calculated from your purchase bills. The quarterly VAT return is auto-generated with all the fields the MRA requires.

VAT rates

The 15% standard rate is built in. Codeblix also handles the 0% rate for exports and exempt supplies, and any custom rates if applicable. Tax codes are TC01 (taxable), TC02 (zero-rated), TC03 (exempt), TC04 (import), TC05 (capital goods), TC06 (other).

Input VAT credit

Codeblix automatically calculates your input VAT credit (the VAT you paid on purchases minus the VAT you collected on sales). The credit is shown on the VAT return.

MRA portal

Codeblix generates the VAT return ready to file on the MRA portal. You can either upload the report or manually enter the figures. Both work.
