Low Stock Alerts

Get email and WhatsApp alerts when stock drops below the reorder threshold. Create purchase orders directly from the alert.

How it works

Set a reorder threshold per item (e.g. 10 units). When stock drops below the threshold, Codeblix auto-sends an alert to the configured recipient (owner, buyer, or any user). The alert includes the item, current stock, threshold, and suggested reorder quantity.

One-click purchase order

The alert includes a link to create a purchase order with the supplier and quantities pre-filled. One click and the PO is in the system, ready for approval and sending.

Per-location thresholds

Each location has its own stock count and its own threshold. The Mauritius warehouse might have a threshold of 100; the Port Louis shop might have a threshold of 10. Alerts fire independently per location.

Batch and expiry aware

For items with batch and expiry tracking, alerts consider expiring stock. If you have 50 units but 30 expire next month, the alert fires early.
