Codeblix EBS BETA

Self onboarding for MRA e-invoicing, one step at a time

You know your business. We help you through the setup. Codeblix self onboarding is a guided way to get your business ready for MRA e-invoicing in Mauritius, without having to work out every step alone.

MUR 2,000 / month for the self onboarding BETA plan

What does BETA mean? We are still testing and improving the guided experience. Access, extension availability and supported connections may vary. Some steps may need help from our team.

Which onboarding option is right for you?

Self onboarding BETA

Choose this if you want to use Codeblix for invoicing or connect an accounting system supported by the BETA. You enter your details and follow the instructions yourself.

It is intended for straightforward setups, such as a shop, a service business or a restaurant with a supported billing workflow.

MUR 2,000 per month. This is the self onboarding BETA plan. Custom integration work is quoted separately.

We help you onboard

Choose custom onboarding if your business uses a custom POS, a filling-station system, several connected systems or unusual invoice workflows that need technical work.

We discuss your process, check how your software can connect and agree on the work and price with you.

Ask about custom onboarding

Call or WhatsApp +230 5754 0522.

Your business type alone does not decide the route. A small shop with a custom POS may need our help, while a business using a supported setup may be able to onboard itself.

What to have ready

  • Your business name, Business Registration Number (BRN), address and contact details.
  • Your Tax Account Number (TAN) and access to the relevant MRA account. The person completing setup should be authorised to act for the business.
  • A computer with Google Chrome for the guided extension workflow, when available.
  • Access to the accounting or billing software you want to connect, if you already use one.

Sign in to MRA on its own website. Do not send your MRA password in a WhatsApp message or enter it in a Codeblix website contact form.

How the guided BETA process is designed to work

The instructions shown in your EBS account take priority if a screen changes during BETA.

  1. Choose your business and setup

Visit Codeblix EBS, check BETA access and choose the option that fits your business. Tell us whether you will use Codeblix or connect existing software.

  2. Create your Codeblix account

When self registration is available to you, enter your business details and create your own login. Check your BRN, business name and contact information before continuing.

  3. Open the self onboarding instructions

The guided experience is designed around a Self Onboarding area in your EBS dashboard. Follow its instructions for the Codeblix Chrome extension when it is available. Use the official Chrome Web Store link supplied there; if no link is shown, ask our team for help.

  4. Sign in to MRA and prepare test access

The extension is intended to guide you through the relevant MRA screens. You sign in yourself, review your business details and create or use the test access requested by the portal. Complete any login checks yourself and keep the session open while following the instructions.

  5. Follow the test steps and review the results

Follow the checks requested by MRA and the instructions in Codeblix. If a step fails or the details look wrong, pause and ask for help. Finishing a test is not the same as completing live setup.

  6. Complete live setup and check your connection

Complete the required MRA onboarding before issuing live fiscal invoices. If you connect accounting software, review the business, tax and invoice settings before you begin.

MRA requires economic operators to complete the prescribed tests and onboard their EBS before issuing fiscal invoices. See the official MRA e-invoicing overview and MRA Secure Hub Portal. The BETA guide does not replace those requirements.

Using QuickBooks Online, Xero or Tally?

The aim is to make connecting supported accounting software simpler, with guided setup and less manual entry. Check which connections are available for self onboarding in your EBS account before choosing this route.

QuickBooks Online, Xero and Tally can have different setup needs. A connector being offered by Codeblix does not mean every version or workflow is ready for self onboarding. Tally or a custom billing system may need extra configuration or custom onboarding.

Read about Codeblix integrations, or tell us which software you use. Review any suggested field mapping before using the connection for live invoices.

A few common questions

Does self onboarding mean I do everything alone?

No. It means you enter your own details and follow the guided steps. If you get stuck, contact Codeblix on WhatsApp at +230 5754 0522. Complex integration work may need a separate quote.

Can the extension complete every step for me?

The extension is intended to help navigate setup and reduce repetitive steps. You still need to sign in, complete any verification checks, review your business details and follow MRA requirements. BETA automation is not a guarantee that every step will pass.

Where do I install the extension?

Use the official Chrome Web Store link provided in your EBS onboarding instructions when it is available. If the instructions or link are not available in your account yet, contact us to check BETA access.

Does this replace the other Codeblix plans?

No. MUR 2,000 per month refers to the self onboarding BETA plan described here. Other software plans and custom onboarding have their own scope and pricing.
